6. Regulating Behavior--NOTE REVISED SCHEDULE
REVISED SCHEDULE FOR MONDAY
I
forgot to mention last week that we have a guest speaker tomorrow, Joe
Cothrel, who will talk to us about metrics and the business of online
communities. He can't join us until a little later in the afternoon,
so we have a revised schedule for tomorrow:
1-2 Ph.D. students meet in 405 for discussion of the Cialdini article
1-2 (optional) master's students meet with John. He'll spend half
the time on a discussion of this week's readings and half the time
previewing the signaling/screening models in one of next week's
readings (if you're not familiar with information economics models of
signaling, you'll want to come for this).
2-3 Everyone together for reports on how four of your communities regulate behavior
3-4 Joe Cothrel's presentation
